I've always found purpose in supporting others, and over the years, I've worked in a variety of roles that have allowed me to do just that. In December, I joined Island Home Care as a Support Worker—and from day one, I knew I had found something special. It didn’t take long for me to realise that working in care wasn’t just a job; it was something I genuinely enjoyed and felt passionate about.

Since then, I’ve taken on the role of Care Coordinator within Island Home Care, and I’m excited to grow further and make a meaningful impact in this position. For me, care is about building trust, making a difference in people’s lives, and showing up with kindness and commitment every single day.

Before moving into care, I gained valuable experience across several sectors. I worked in finance, where I developed strong organisational and administrative skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. I also worked in recruitment, supporting both employers and jobseekers—helping people find roles that matched their skills and aspirations. Later, I took on a role within a “Back to Work” programme, supporting clients from a wide range of backgrounds to gain the confidence, skills, and resources they needed to secure sustainable employment. These experiences deepened my understanding of people’s individual journeys and the importance of tailored, person-centred support.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner, our daughter, and our dog Buddy. We're a close-knit, football-mad family who never miss a Liverpool game. Whether it’s on the sofa with snacks or in the stands when we get the chance, we live and breathe the game together.

I'm proud to be part of a team that values compassion and professionalism, and I’m looking forward to continuing my journey in care—making a difference, one day at a time.
