Originally from a small countryside town in Denmark, Sara brings a unique blend of warmth, curiosity, and clinical insight to our Additional Needs Team. She holds a degree in clinical dietetics and health promotion, and is passionate about the powerful connection between nutrition, wellbeing, and quality of life—believing that even small changes can make a big difference.

Her journey to Jersey began in 2018, when she first arrived and quickly fell in love with the island’s natural beauty, vibrant community, and welcoming spirit. After returning to Denmark, she couldn’t stay away for long—rejoining the island in 2025 and finding her professional home with us. She describes her current role as “the best job I’ve ever had,” where no two days are the same and she’s encouraged to bring her full self to the work.

Outside of her professional life, Sara is a lifelong animal lover who spent a decade riding and caring for her beloved Fjord horse, Buster. She still lights up around horses and enjoys staying active at the gym, experimenting in the kitchen (especially with baking!), and curling up with a good book and a hot chocolate. She’s also on a mission to learn British Sign Language to better connect with the people she supports.
