Kate has almost always lived in Jersey apart from 3 years spent in London as a student at St Bartholomew’s College of Nursing and Midwifery. Kate has a BTEC national diploma in Health Studies and relevant Health and social care qualifications from the Open University.
Kate has a background in both adult and children’s social care and her experience as family support worker for ‘Children’s Services’, working as a school nurse, and as a teaching assistant adds another dimension to our team’s skill set. Kate has undertaken a variety of Healthcare Support Worker roles in the community working with elderly clients as well as clients with complex needs and Autism.
Kate lived in Canada for a year, Alberta for 6 months then Whistler, she especially loved Kananaskis, which is slap bang in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. When Kate isn’t sea swimming, she loves to spend time with her 2 rescue dogs from Spain called Digger and Poppy.
