George brings a broad and compassionate background to his role as Care Coordinator at Island Home Care. Originally from Portsmouth, he moved to Jersey in 2017 and quickly embraced the island’s tranquility and slower pace of life. His career in care began at a young age, progressing from domiciliary support to senior roles, including work in secure mental health settings, residential care, and learning disability services. This varied experience gives George a well-rounded understanding of the sector and a deep respect for the people he supports.

Alongside his professional journey, George is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and passionate about health and fitness. He regularly takes part in triathlons and endurance events, including completing a marathon on a Ski Erg to raise over £1,400 for charity, and cycling the full 100km Tour de Jersey. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and unwinding with video games, a lifelong hobby.
