Born and raised on a farm in Galway before moving to Jersey in 2019, Claire has a love for animals and Gaelic football, and is an active member of the Irish Society in her spare time. Claire has now gained 5 years of experience in Jersey, working with local charities, agencies and Jersey Youth Services to support clients with autism and a range of complex needs. This experience has given Claire valuable knowledge in the use of Makaton and sign language, helping her to accommodate her clients’ communication needs. Claire has additionally achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and recently became a Mental Health First Aider, further enhancing her capabilities in her current role. Claire’s passion for helping others is also demonstrated by her voluntary contributions outside of work, organising fundraisers each year and travelling to other countries to help those in need. Claire’s commitment to providing compassionate care makes her an excellent addition to the team.
