Originally from Madeira, Carla moved to Jersey 10 years ago, bringing with her a genuine love for supporting others. In Jersey, Carla gained valuable experience as a support worker, assisting community clients with personal care, medication, and household tasks, encouraging engagement and independence. Her background also includes work as a Health Care Assistant in a care home, providing essential care and supporting residents with hygiene, meals, and vital checks. 

 

Carla is skilled at creating a warm, supportive environment for clients through companionship and emotional support. She actively encourages clients to engage in hobbies, outings, and therapeutic exercises, empowering them to stay active and connected. 

 

An animal lover, Carla is especially devoted to her 12-year-old dog, Savanna. Carla thrives in nature, engaging in hobbies like foraging, swimming, boogie boarding, and fishing along Jersey’s beautiful coasts. At home, Carla loves experimenting with new recipes, often creating unique dishes that reflect her creativity and appreciation for fresh, local ingredients.
