William, known to us all as Bill, is a calm, considerate, and dedicated member of our care team. Born and raised in Jersey, he’s spent his life surrounded by the island’s natural beauty, which he proudly calls home. Though deeply rooted in Jersey, Bill has a passion for travel and adventure. He’s explored much of Europe and America, and spent six months travelling through Southeast Asia, visiting Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Bali. He’s especially drawn to places off the beaten track, finding joy in discovering new cultures and landscapes. Still, nothing beats returning to Jersey’s beaches, which he considers the most beautiful in the world.

Bill’s professional background includes over a decade in finance, where he worked as a CDD Administrator. He also supported the community through his role on the Coronavirus Helpline. Seeking a more fulfilling path, one where he could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, he transitioned into the care sector, where he continues to grow and thrive.

Since moving into care, Bill has completed a vast amount of certifications and continues to build his knowledge and skills. He brings empathy, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others to every interaction.

 

Outside of work, Bill enjoys long walks, spending time in nature, playing golf, video games, and relaxing with friends, especially at the beach. He also holds a PADI Level 1 Scuba Diving award, reflecting his adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors.
